I don't know if I'm the only person out there that has an extreme amount of usernames and passwords, but I'm constantly forgetting which ones to use when. Does any one else have this problem?
Any suggestions on how to keep track of them all?

1. Read all the articles
U.S. schools lag behind in the use of technology
This article didn't really teach me anything new. It's obvious that schools are terribly behind in technology and it makes so sense to me. Why are schools fighting technology? I know some schools have trouble with funding, but what about all the other schools that go out and find funding or grants to get the technology that is going to help their students so much? It's time for education to catch up with the rest of the 21st century and get ready to embrace technology and the wonderful benefits it can have for our students.
National Education Technology Plan
How exciting! This plan is exactly what the U.S. needs! It is time to catch up and move with the trend. Students are already very acquainted with the internet and various technological equipment. It's about time that everyone stood up and took notice that technology has become a very integral part of life and society. Seeing as how it's education that teaches society, it only makes sense that it should be up to education to ensure that every one is ready for this trend.
NETS: National Education Technology Standards: for Standards, for Teachers and for Administrators
Don't Just Adapt Technology, Adopt It!!
What a powerful, moving article. It makes perfect sense. Even though I'm only 21 years old, I'm still a "digital immigrant" compared to students today that are going through school. I understand that schools and older teachers can be resistent to change. However, if they are teachers they should be more dedicated to the students then they are to their own ways. When it's time to change, it's just time to change. There is not time to discuss it. Technology is going to require new things for everyone. Education should be at the front of the race, not dragging it's feet in the back.

NETS Project sounds like a wonderful idea. Technology is very important in schools and to the students. This website is full of wonderful resources for teachers, going all the way down to how to get grants. If more people took the time to try to get grants then more students would be benefiting from technology.

2. Apple Learning Interchange 2007
Apple Learning Interchange is a wonderful site! I didn't expect a huge company to have a social network site for teachers. Especially one with that much good information. At first I had a hard time finding my way around but I eventually got it. The one constant in this class is that I'm continually surprised with the amount of information and free resources out there for teachers. I know Apple is very dedicated to teachers and education. They deserve a very big thank you. I shared this website with two of my aunts, one teachers high school English, and the other one teaches pre-school. I figured that both of them would really enjoy using this site. I plan on telling all of my colleges and my mentors that I have remaining in my education. Social networking sites are great and this one tops the cake.
3. ALTEC
I keep finding myself wanting to say THANK YOU!!!! This was such a wonderful resource! I've already tagged so many of the links available. These resources will go along way to helping me as a teacher. These will save some serious valuable time. The sites that I found I really liked were the Action Research Network, Assign-A-Day, RubiStart, and 4teachers.org. These sites are just genius.
The shared this resource with my aunt who teaches high school English. She had never heard of this resource and was beyond excited. She can be kind of old school at times, but she was totally open minded and was ready to use them for this next year!

4. Edutopia
Harrison Central High School
I can not imagine having this much technology in the high school. These students are so lucky. The only technology we had when I was in high school was the schools desk tops. They are experiencing so much and is going to help them so much in the long run. I really liked how the the teachers are coordinating the technology across the curriculum. This makes it real and understandable. Way to go Harrison Central High School!
Mary Scroggs Elementary School
WOW! These students are so young and working so well with the technology! It's amazing to me how much these students are capable of doing. I consistently find I'm underestimating students and it's students like this that remind me of what they are really capable.
A Product of Learning
This video is prove that every child can do anything. A low-income and multi-ethnic population hasn't stopped this school from accomplishing great things! Once again, it's just amazing how the teachers have worked together to coordinate across the curriculum with the technology. In this instance technology is doing more then assist with learning it's helping with the students self-confidence and self-worth.
Leading with Laptops
The community around this middle school is wonderful! These students are so lucky to have this opportunity. The integration of technology is great. These students are learning so much and they are going the extra mile because the want to and school is exciting to them again. Video's like this make me even more excited to become a teacher, and more eager to learn everything I can about technology and resources available to me.
No Gamer Left Behind
Finally people are starting to realize that in order to reach students we have to get on their level and teach with tools that will interest them. In today's age that involves video games. These games are fast moving, exciting, and colorful. If we can learn to teach with games then we can reach any and every student. I'm really glad to see we are moving toward that direction. There is something to learn in everything. GAME ON!
Beginning the Journey: Five-Years Drive Their Own PBL Projects
I have to start out by saying that those little kids are so cute! The natural curiousity that they have is just astounding. You can almost see them squirming to ask their questions. I really like how everything they do is done in large projects that they complete as a class. This is a great way to get the students interested in school. I wonder though, how much extra time this will cost you as a teacher.
Learning by Design
What a wonderful opportunity for Mark! I am a hands on learner and there are lots of students like this. What better way to learn then by doing? This would be so exciting to be there where it actually happens. Learning equations in a math classroom is one thing but actually being an intern in an architecture company and applying the equations is going to make so much more sense to the students!

5. Think about this course
I loved this class! I have learned so much that at times it has felt as if my head was spinning from all of the information. At first it was very hard to keep track of all of the information, there as so much I wanted to do and I didn't know how to do it. That problem was solved when I was introduced del.icio.us. THANK YOU!
One WOW I had during this class was the fact that I made a podcast. It might not be the best one ever created but hey, I never thought I would make one! Now that I've made one and see how much fun it can be I'm going to keep working on them. It would be great if I could create a podcast series like the ones we had to listen to.
Another thing about this class that I've enjoyed is the information about Web2.0 and opensource software. I had never heard about either one of these until this class. I feel a bit naive and out of the loop but I'm catching up and loving it. There is so much out there to learn and explore and I'm so excited to keep exploring.
